Students: Have you seen Lucky the Leprechaun? He went for a walk around the school and must have gotten lost! If you find him.  Please bring him to the office for a sweet treat.

Teen of the Quarter: Applications for Teen of the Quarter are available in the principal’s office for juniors and seniors. Applicants will be judged on the following achievements: Character, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Scholarship. The applications need to be signed by 2 teachers and attach a wallet size photo. Two applicant’s will be selected. If you are selected you will receive a commemorative coin, and $100.00 Savings Bond. Deadline for applications are MONDAY, March 19th, 2018 by 3:30 P.M.

Juniors:  Room assignments for the ACT scheduled for Tuesday, March 20th are posted on Miss Broaddus' door and on the wall by the student lounge on 2nd floor.  Please check that your name is included on the list and look to see which room you will be testing in.  When the 8:10 bell rings in the morning on the 20th, you should report to your assigned room.  Bring ONLY an approved calculator and #2 pencil.  Leave your cellphone, food, drink, bag, books, etc. in your locker as they will NOT be permitted in the testing room.  Please see Mrs. Hoffer if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the following students for placing at the Academic Team competition yesterday: Myles Stinnett (1st in Social Studies); Konnor Bithell (2nd in Social Studies, 5th in Science, and 10th in English); Josh Jacobson (7th in Social Studies, 3rd in Science, and 3rd in English); Calvin Kutzler (8th in Science); Antonio Candelaria (8th in English); and Kane Knudson (10th in English).

Prom: Any boys that ordered their tux from Sugar Plum Jewelry Co. need to go pick them up after school. They are open until 5:00 PM.

Juniors:  If you are interested in representing DCHS at the American Legion Girls or Boys State program in June, please stop at the principal's office to pick up an application.  Girls and Boys State is a fun government-in-action program where students from across the state come together to learn about local, county and state government processes.  Applications are due March 28th.

Math Competition: The math competition in Sidney has been rescheduled for next Monday, March 19th. If you are signed up to attend, you MUST see Mrs. Cobb today to discuss details.

Key club: Key Club meeting Tuesday, March 13 in the boys health room to discuss the blood drive and convention.  Bring convention forms and permission slips if you have them!!
